Two spare car tyres
Dan was driving along a deserted lane in the middle of the night. He was going to reach his grandfather"s home in the morning, but it was six hundred kilometres away, so he had to focus for a couple of hours. He suddenly saw a light. It was a car, and a man in front of it, with a torch in his hand, looking for something in the boot of his car. Dan stopped by the road and left his car. ‘What"s the matter?", he asked. The traveller explained that he had a flat tyre. He had taken two spare car tyres with him, but the problem was, he had forgotten to take a jack to elevate his car. Fortunately, Dan never forgot such things. He rummaged in the boot of his car for a couple of minutes, and finally took out a brand new jack. They elevated the man"s car together and replaced the flat tyre with one of the brand new car tyres. Well, that"s the whole story. Do you always take a spare tyre with you whenever you set off for a longer journey? You definitely should, but even more importantly, be sure you"ll be able to replace a spare tyre. Always take all necessary tools with you! And be sure you actually KNOW how to do the job. If you don"t, there are a lot of tutorials available online. You surely don"t want to find you in a situation like the one described above.
